Red [Renaissance] is a powerful story about the artists of the Ukrainian creative elite of the early 20th century - Khvylovyi, Sosiura, Ostap Vyshnia, Les Kurbas, Mykhailo Semenko, Pavlo Tychyna and the Kharkiv house “Slovo” (eng Word). They will become the centre of the plot and tell you about their lives, the formation of the nation and the struggle against the oppressive Soviet regime. The film is screened in Ukrainian with English subtitles.
